Welcome to Tiki HOT Island Shop!  We're located in Roatan, Honduras, one of the "Bay Islands" and clearly one of the hotest new vacation destinations in the Caribbean.  Situated on the second largest reef in the world, Roatan has become a mecca for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts.  Roatan is refered to as "the jewel of the Caribbean" and has drawn a lot of attention from American, Canadian and European investors and has become home to many ex-pats seeking "island life" as their retirement lifestyle.  Carnival Cruise lines now boast of their soon to be completed  "Mahogany Bay" cruise terminal and are flooding the island with visitors from all over the world.

Tiki Hut Island Shop is just down the road and hopes to serve the cruiseship visitors as well as provide a fun shopping experience for the native islanders, the mainland Hondurans and vacationers staying at resorts around the island.

A stop at the "Tiki Hot" is essential when visiting Roatan.  We offer frozen libations adorned with fresh fruit and topped with an umbrella or foiled palm tree.  Steel drum music is always on tap and an outside patio provides a shady spot to relax.

Some of Our Products

Because of the nature of our shop and the ever changing needs of our "locals" our stock is constantly changing..... We're trying to special order items that are currently unavailable elsewhere on the island.  Our most popular items include tropical print water Cooler Covers, Tropical Decor Items and Jewelry.  We always stock locally made wood items and other handmade trinkets to support our local community and supply the most unique items that our island can offer.  Decorative items are big sellers, allowing the expat s to promote the island lifestyle and tropical ambiance that Roatan offers.  Metal geckos, fish, dolphins and frogs are brightly colored and are of varying sizes.  Wooden tiki heads and serving ware are popular too.  We have a vast array of party supplies to add a tropical flair to your next party or event and carry matching accessories and decorations.

Our novelty items are truly wild, especially our line of sunglasses and hats.  We have them for all occasions: frivolous and functional, traditional and off the charts!  Our sunglasses are of all sizes, shapes and some are fanciful and fun-loving while other fall into the realm of practical.  We offer beer mug shapes, tropical drink shapes, glittered, stripes, animal and wildlife shapes and light-up glasses as well.  Our hats include safari style, cowboy, pirate, sequined or flowered ball caps and even felt parrots!  For our motorcycle enthusiasts, we carry those essential "doo-rags" for cruising around the island and they are available in traditional biker prints as well as tropical patterns.

We also offer a selection of one-of-a-kind gifts for that special someone or as a memory of your visit to Roatan.  We take souvenir photos in tropical props and include a "roatan" imprinted frame.  Our jewelry is tropical, beach related, nautical and traditional and made of several different materials like rope, cloth, copper, wood and seashells.  We even make some of our jewelry on-site!
